Bunnings Workshop

9 Oct

Today we had the lovely Steph from Bunnings visit our school and conduct a wood working workshop with our Prep/Year 1 students.

This is a fantastic program that Bunnings offers (for free) to schools.

They bring everything with them – wood, glue, nails, hammers, even the aprons!

I love that this program provides students with an activity that they are not exposed to very often (we tend not to give our little people hammers and nails to play with 🙂 )

The kids loved it.

The Preps made a door hanger and the Year 1’s made a T-Light holder (I forgot to take photo’s at the end – sorry!).

I am linking up with My Little Drummer Boys for Wordless Wednesday.

That’s quite impressive. I’m wondering do all Bunnings do this?
Also, I have nominated you for the The Versatile Blogger Award because I enjoy your blog 🙂 http://travellingmacs.wordpress.com/2013/10/11/the-versatile-blogger-award/
